How would you describe yourself or your work in one sentence?
Singing Loud and Proud!
Tell us a little about what you do
We are a choir who caters to queer people, straight allies and amateur singers.
What impact or achievement are you most proud of this year?
In 2025 we were invited to perform at 2 different Feast performances. We also lasted through the worst of COVID (at our lowest we only had 6 members).
Why does your work matter to the community?
We're a friendly group of people. You can show up and be yourself within a group of people who are nice and fun and willing to help others learn. Our members range widely in age, gender, sexuality and sense of humour.
We don't ask you to audition, or fit a certain mold, or be anything other than who you are. We just want people to show up, have a good time, and sing their hearts out.
What would you like voters to know when voting for you?
We've been singing for decades and we have no intention of stopping. A vote for us helps broaden our reach and keep us working hard for our community.
