The South Australian Pride Hall of Fame returns in 2025 to honour and celebrate the individuals whose leadership, activism, creativity, and courage have shaped South Australia’s LGBTQIA+ community.

First launched in 2024, the Hall of Fame recognises those who have made a lasting and meaningful impact through their work, advocacy, and contribution to the advancement, celebration, and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people across the state.

 

In 2025, the Hall of Fame takes on added significance as the South Australian Pride Gala coincides with the 50-year anniversary since South Australia became the first state in Australia to decriminalise homosexual acts — a landmark reform that helped ignite a national movement for change.
