The South Australian Pride Gala is Pride Adelaide’s formal annual celebration and the flagship event of the Pride calendar. The Gala brings together community, allies and supporters to recognise impact, leadership, contribution and pride across South Australia’s LGBTQIASB+ communities. The evening incorporates the South Australian Pride Awards and the South Australian Pride Hall of Fame inductions within a single, cohesive program designed to celebrate past, present and future contributions.

The 2026 South Australian Pride Gala will be held on Saturday 6 June 2026 at SkyCity Adelaide. The event is held within a dedicated function and event space that operates separately from other areas of the venue.

The Gala is an all-ages event and is open to LGBTQIASB+ community members, allies, families, supporters and organisations. Anyone under the age of 16 must attend with a parent or legal guardian. The Gala is designed as a welcoming community celebration rather than a closed or invitation-only event. A valid ticket, purchased only from Pride Adelaide is required to attend.

A standard Gala ticket includes entry to the event, access to the full evening program, a two-course meal, and one complimentary drink on arrival. Tickets also include attendance at the South Australian Pride Awards and South Australian Pride Hall of Fame inductions. The final event format, either seated or cocktail-style, is confirmed prior to ticket sales opening.

Corporate Tables include all standard ticket inclusions for each guest seated at the table, including the two-course meal and complimentary drink on arrival. In addition, Corporate Tables receive a branded table featuring the organisation or group’s logo and on-stage acknowledgement during the program. Corporate Tables are designed to recognise supporters while maintaining the community-focused nature of the event.

Accessibility is a key consideration in planning the Gala. The venue is wheelchair accessible and Pride Adelaide works closely with the venue to support inclusive access. Accessibility information, including Auslan interpretation, is published alongside ticketing details so attendees can make informed decisions.

Alcohol is available for purchase at the venue in line with South Australian licensing requirements. Valid photo identification is required to purchase or consume alcohol. Non-alcoholic beverage options are available throughout the evening.

The South Australian Pride Gala is hosted in a private function space within SkyCity Adelaide. Attendance does not require entry into gaming areas and clear access routes to the event space are provided. The venue is engaged as an events and hospitality provider in the same way as other large-scale function venues.

The dress code for the Gala is formal or cocktail. Personal expression is welcomed and guests are encouraged to dress in a way that reflects pride, confidence and celebration.
